The second park of the day was the one out to the north of Delhi and another new find that I'd come across in researching the trip.
Jurasik Park Inn is a very young park starting out as a water park in 2011 before adding some dry rides in the year after. In 2014 they added a zyklon rollercoaster, hence the reason for including this in the itinerary. The park is about 2 hours from Fun Town and with an entrance like this it's a difficult one to miss.
Intentional copyright avoiding spelling error aside the park has some pretty good dinosaur theming within the park.
The theming isn't all prehistoric, and it's obvious they're expanding!
Signs had to go up after the last person who touched the T-Rex had his head bitten off!
The rudimentary looking mountain is a theming attempt at the slides that go into this water pool. Well done to the park for at least considering that. Most water parks seem quite happy to just have stair cases left exposed.
There's a decent array of slides in the other pool.
The zyklon coaster is located around the back of the mountain and it looked to be in pretty good condition.
But there was a but. The train had been stripped down so wouldn't be running today. I had a chat with one of the managers who was obviously curious why a Brit was in his park and after explaining my hobby he then explained that January in Delhi is typically too cold for the locals to spend their time at theme park and this is the time that parks typically do their maintenance.
and that was Jurasik Park Inn. Not a bad park at all, just a bad park in January :)
Jurasik Park Inn is located on Highway 1 midway between Sonnepat and Gannaur.
